Why taking this course?

For many instructors, creating sequences for led group classes can be a confusing process especially when incorporating a large number of postures. In our Teaching Methodology TTC we will analyze what we call the Structural Skeleton of Fluidity, utilizing positions effectively and allowing teachers when necessary to work intuitively. It is a perspective and insight on sequencing which can be applied to alternative sequencing systems and helps to promote fluidity and logical transitions for your led yoga classes along with deepening your self-practice.

You will learn to create 2-4 week yoga programs for beginners to intermediate students which will incorporate structural alignment workshops and lectures, maximizing the positive effects of your asana classes and diminishing the high level of compromise that usually is present within them.

Our Teaching Methodology Immersion course has been designed to help fill that gap between yoga practitioner and yoga instructor which many feel after their 200 hour course. Whether you are planning to teach in the future or are a current teacher considering joining a 300 hour course and do not have the time or do not feel ready, this immersion will greatly impact your perspective and insight on how to cultivate awareness in your students and instill confidence in your tools as an instructor. It is not mandatory for students joining this course to have completed a 200 hour training prior to this program, but it will be taught from a teacher’s perspective.

[All hours completed in this course will be led by an E-RYT 500 instructor and may be used towards Yoga Alliance’s Continued Education Requirements.]
