He has been a lead methodology instructor and asana teacher at Himalayan Yoga Academy and Rishikesh Yog Peeth’s teacher training courses, along with retreats and workshops in the States, Nicaragua, Thailand, and Ukraine. As a teacher, he is dedicated to the development of the connection of breath and the body in his students, and utilizing the tools of our physical practice as a bridge to meditation and higher states of consciousness. He has trained extensively with the top Hatha and Iyengar teachers in Rishikesh, and his workshops primarily focus on structural alignment and building a physical and intellectual understanding of postures, expanding awareness in his students’ practices. His classes range from dynamic flow sequences, hatha yoga, and restorative yoga, all with a focus on proper alignment. “Yoga is an ancient art of self-healing that must be discovered by experience. We attempt to explore the body to bring awareness to dormant portions of our physical being while bringing light into the dark corners of consciousness.”
Audrey’s journey originally started in France but her heart has now truly become Balinese. She arrived on the island of the Gods in 2014 and little did she know that an unexpected
encounter would soon change her life. After working 10 years in the hospitality business back home, she took a leap of faith, packed up and ran towards new adventures with her partner to a new land full of surprises. They arrived in the small village of Tulamben, on Bali’s East coast, a quiet little gem celebrated worldwide for its magical dive sites.
Entered Tomomi Kojima whom she met only a few weeks after arriving and who became her friend and Teacher. Together, they practised and studied Yoga for a year allowing Audrey to discover more than just a new found passion but a new path. Following her desire to take her practice to the next step, she became a Yoga teacher and has not left this magnificent country that is Indonesia ever since.Improving her teaching skills around Bali, Audrey has later on joined Yoga Dunia’s team where she can ally her two passions, Yoga and management.
When Audrey is not at work, you can find her wandering around Nusa Lembongan island and taking pictures or enjoying her cozy home and cooking for her loved ones.
Puri was born in Klunkung Bali (Indonesia). She grew up in the city of Malang. Where she completed studies, after developing an unknown illness she joined an Ashram where she started meditation and Asana’s practice.Once fully healed her way to give back to the Ashram community was to give Yoga classes, requests started to come all around for Puri and, that’s how her Yoga teaching journey gave birth! She decided to complete her teaching with specific certificates such as: 30h Kapha Yoga for alignment, Kundalini Meditation/ Holistic healing certification, 200h Classic Yoga from India/ Hatha.
Puri’s favorite thing about teaching Yoga is the feeling to help and give back, help others like she has been helped in the most challenging times. She firmly believes that anything is possible with love and support. When she is not teaching you can find her gardening, studying Ayurveda or singing!
